I hate it when interviewers ask 'where do you see yourself in 10 years?' as they usually want you
to say how u'll still be working for them etc. But that is not my dream... The idea of working 9- 5
for the next 20 something years in some horrid little office building is not my idea of a long term goal.
I once told an interviewer i wanted to have my own business.. they sort of looked at me in disbeleif and then
the interview got a bit awkard with them wanting to know how I expected to acheive such a thing.
No wonder I couldn't get a job.. but I did start my buisness within a month of that interview.
So instead of asking me where 'i see myself' like I have a crystal ball hidden in my portfolio
here is what I want to try and acheive in life. The things which I dream of and strive to one day achive.
Some are big dreams that may never be possible, but one can dream
I WANT TO...
... make a living from making art/design.
... be unrestricted by finances in my creativity
... have Customers/clients who will pay me for what im worth
... work at home and travel now and then
... have variety in whatever I do. Reptetion is the key to bordom/ insanity.
... never stop learning
... find a man who is also creative and supports my creative endevours.
... travel the world and collect random objects, take photos, shop and ride a bicycle
... own a home where every room has a different theme. And there has to be a few studios, a haunted cellar, trap doors and secret tunnels. hmmm i think i need a castle.
... never forget the things that really matter
... constantly chanllenge myself to do better and never rest on my lorals
... never stop coming up with ideas, however silly they may seem
... impact lives, however small
... own my own shop, a real brick and mortar store
... be involed in more photo shoots
... make a movie (or in some way be part of making a movie)
... create a childrens cartoon tv show
... learn to dance (properley)
... write a book (i'll need help with my spelling though)
... organise an event of some sort well be nvloved in the design and styling of an event ( like a fashion show, wedding, party, etc..)
im sure there is much more, but thats all i can think of right now
AND I STILL CANT CHANGE MY MOOD, I THINK MY JOURNAL IS CORRUPT
